Use a private channel

Anything written in a player's thread is sent to that player as a support reply. That's why Inngame refuses a channel that @everyone (or any role without Manage Messages) can see. A public community server is fine, with a private support channel inside it.

Set it up

  1. Open Settings → Apps → your app → Integrations → Discord.
  2. Click Add to Discord to invite the Inngame bot (or use your own bot: token, application id and public key).
  3. In Discord, turn on Developer Mode, right-click the channel and Copy Channel ID.
  4. Paste the channel id in Inngame and connect.

Inngame registers its slash commands and posts a confirmation.

Answering

  • Write in a player's thread to reply (text or images). This turns the AI off for that conversation.
  • Commands in a thread: /close, /reopen, /ai, /draft, /noai, /review, /block. Anywhere: /stats, /pause, /resume.
  • Buttons and AI drafts work like on Telegram.

Bug spike alerts and the weekly digest are posted in the channel too.
