Get notified on your phone or computer
Your team can get a notification when a player writes, even with the inbox closed.
On this page
Turn on push
Each person turns it on for their own device:
- Open Settings → Preferences.
- Click Enable push on this device and allow notifications.
Android phones and desktop browsers work right away.
On iPhone and iPad
Apple only allows push for installed web apps:
- Open the inbox in Safari.
- Tap Share → Add to Home Screen.
- Open Inngame from the Home Screen icon, then enable push in Preferences.
A native iPhone app for teams is in the works; it isn't on the App Store yet. Until then, the Home Screen inbox, Telegram and Discord all reach you on your phone.
Who gets notified
- Only messages that need a human: if the AI answers on its own, nobody is woken up. When it hands off, you get a Needs you notification with the reason.
- An assigned conversation notifies only the assignee; otherwise everyone subscribed.
- Nobody is notified while they have the inbox open.
Notifications are end-to-end encrypted for each device: Apple, Google or Mozilla carry them without being able to read them.
