What happens when you reach your AI quota
Each plan includes a monthly number of AI replies. Reaching it never breaks your support: humans take over.
How many AI replies
- Free trial: 200
- Indie: 1,000 / month
- Studio: 10,000 / month
- Your own Anthropic or OpenAI key: no cap
You can follow this month's usage in Settings → Billing. Translations have their own, separate allowance.
When the quota is reached
- The AI stops calling the model for the rest of the month.
- In Auto mode, each new conversation is handed to your team: the player is told a team member will reply here, with your usual reply time.
- Your team gets a note explaining why the AI is quiet: AI monthly quota reached.
- Players keep writing, and your team keeps replying from the inbox, Telegram or Discord.
The quota resets at the start of each calendar month.
Options to keep the AI on
- Move from Indie to Studio in the billing portal.
- Add your own AI key (Settings → AI): no monthly cap, you pay your provider directly.
Other limits
To keep costs safe on public pages, the AI also hands off after 8 replies in a row without a teammate, and after 20 replies per hour from the same network for unverified players.
