Install the iOS SDK (Swift)
A native support chat for iOS apps written in Swift, with SwiftUI and UIKit. Making a game in Unity? Use the Unity SDK instead: it already covers iOS builds.
Requirements
- iOS 16 or later (the package also builds for macOS 13).
- Your app key (
app_…) from the dashboard (your app → Install).
Add the package
- In Xcode, choose File → Add Package Dependencies.
- Paste
https://github.com/inngame/sdk-iosand pick version 0.2.3 or later. - Add the Inngame library to your app target.
Configure at launch
import SwiftUI
import Inngame
@main
struct MyApp: App {
init() { Inngame.configure(appKey: "app_XXXXXXXX") }
var body: some Scene { WindowGroup { ContentView() } }
}
Show the chat
SwiftUI:
.sheet(isPresented: $showHelp) { InngameChatView() }
UIKit: call Inngame.present(from: self) from your Help button.
Messages written offline are kept on the device and sent when the network comes back. The look (logo, colors for light and dark mode) comes from the dashboard, with no app update.
Identify the user (optional)
Users start anonymous, so the chat works before login. After login, call Inngame.identify(userId:name:email:token:). With a token signed by your server, the user is verified and finds their history on every device.
More options (badge, push, context, purchases) are in the iOS docs.
