Add the script

  1. Download inngame.js and host it with your game, or load it from that URL.
  2. Add one tag with your public app key (Settings → Apps → General):
<script src="inngame.js" data-app-key="app_…"></script>

That's it: a chat button appears in the corner. It works on itch.io, CrazyGames, Poki, your own site, and in web apps.

Start it yourself (optional)

To pass options, for example to open it from your own menu:

<script src="inngame.js"></script>
<script>
  Inngame.init({ appKey: "app_…", launcher: false,
    context: () => ({ level: player.level }) });
  helpButton.onclick = () => Inngame.open();
</script>

TypeScript types are in inngame.d.ts.

What players see

  • A home with your logo, team faces, Send us a message, a search field, your top articles and your collections (when your FAQ has published articles).
  • The chat in their language (25 languages), photos, offline messages that leave when the connection returns, and real-time replies.
  • Each message carries the page URL, browser, screen size and recent console errors for your team.

Identify signed-in players

await Inngame.identify({ userId: "u_42", name: "Nova", token: jwtFromYourServer });

Without a token the user id is a label only. See the web docs for every option.
