Your public help center
Your FAQ articles can also live on a hosted page that players open in any browser, without launching your game: search, collections, articles, and a button to message your team. It looks like an Intercom or Zendesk help center, with your logo and colors.
Turn it on
- Open Settings → Apps → your app → Help center.
- Switch on Published. It is off until you do.
- Pick the address:
app.inngame.app/help/your-game(3 to 40 lowercase letters, digits and dashes). - Optionally set the name (shown as "Your game Help Center", translated for each visitor) and a greeting.
- Click Save changes, then Open to see it.
What visitors get
- A home with a search field, your top articles and your collections.
- A page per collection and per article, with a breadcrumb, a table of contents on long articles and related articles.
- Send us a message on every page: it opens your web chat, so the visitor starts a real conversation in your inbox.
- Light and dark, phones first.
Languages
Each address carries its language (/help/your-game/en, /help/your-game/fr…), and the bare address sends visitors to theirs. Write your articles in several languages and each version links to the others. With translation on, other languages are translated on first read and kept, within your plan's translations.
Search engines
Pages are rendered on the server with canonical addresses, descriptions, structured data and a sitemap, so Google can index them. Turn on Hide from search engines while you write, or if the same articles already live on your own website, to avoid duplicate pages.
What is shown
Only published articles, never anything about your players. Changes to an article, a collection or a setting show up within a minute.
Custom domains (help.yourgame.com) are planned. Over the API: GET and PUT /v1/apps/:id/help-center. Every option is in the web docs.
